Esslingen

Couple of pictues from Esslingen.. which to my shame I only just visited a few weeks ago when mom and George were here. It is truly beautiful, and very very close. They say that Stuttgart used to look like this.

Mini trip last weekend with some friends. We were awful. Totally embarassing. Our friends were like a mile in front of us, going straight down the river, Cramer and I were, as you say, taking the scenic route.

New Apartment


Photos of the new apartment, finally. We managed to move everything in one trip... so the whole process took maybe an hour. Really quite easy. The new place is nice, real walls and a ceiling and everything! It is a good change... though I miss the views. But, the neighborhood is quiet, and close to work. We like it.

Wow. I have not updated this in ages. So, what has been happening... I was in New York City for most of April. Thanks to everybody who came to see and met up with me. It was really great to see you all again.

So, couple of new pictures. The lovely valley shots are of the Danube Valley, where we went hiking a few weeks back. Very cool day. Went with a Stuttgart hiking club group... all of whom where 60+. I remember thinking when I saw the group that this was going to be no probem. A great first real hike of the season. I could't have been more wrong. I will never underestimate German senior citizens ever again.
